Geothermal Pipe

Sustainable, earth-friendly geothermal piping materials.

ISCO provides durable and reliable geothermal pipe material that is rustproof, break-resistant, corrosion-free and environmentally friendly.

Without harming the environment, the energy generated by the earth’s constant temperature can be harnessed to heat and cool buildings safely. As society’s concern over environmental health grows, the use of geothermal energy is rising. It is supported and endorsed by the United States Department of Energy and the Environmental Protection Agency.

Geothermal energy can be captured by creating a series of horizontal or vertical loops underground. The loops are filled with water or a water-based liquid and connected to a heat pump inside the building. The heat pump circulates the liquid through the ground loops creating a heat exchanger that is more efficient than any alternate heating or cooling method. HDPE is the predominant geothermal pipe material used for ground heat exchangers and is approved in all modern codes for ground loops.
